Hi friends!! Yay I'm back with another post heh!!! Today I went to the Grandstand and just walked around, window shopping and looking at all the gorgeous food and pretty little things!! I love looking around the Grandstand just for some eye candy and decided to take a few pictures today (didn't take many as I was in a hurry though).
The Grandstand has two wings: North and South.
At the North wing, I visited PasarBella, which to my knowledge, is a pretty well known place. There's like, tons of food, sweets, party stuff etc but it's a pretty high class and atas place?? And the prices kinda suit that range as well. So if you are looking for some place affordable, I do not recommend going to PasarBella:-))) But if you are looking for yum & atas food, and don't have a low budget, I do recommend going:-)

After looking around PasarBella, we walked around the South wing, finding a nice place to eat.
After about 15 minutes of contemplation, we decided to settle at Scrumptious at the Turf!
I thought that the ambience felt pretty nice and comfy and the prices seemed pretty reasonable too!

They even have like this small area at the back where kids can play while waiting for food etc!! Super cute! So yes I would say it's pretty suitable for families with young children I guess?? Except that there's no kids meal (but then again, most kids can eat adult portions right??)
And then our food finally came yay!!!
Andre ordered the steak, I ordered the cajun chicken (bc I never actually ate cajun chicken before) and we ordered truffle fries too!! (It added up to a total of $50)

Andre's medium well steak turned out to be pretty bloody (medium rare bloody) and we had to return it so that they could cook it longer, but I guess anyone could've made that mistake. ($18-$22)
My cajun chicken was actually pretty good. It wasn't too dry but it wasn't too oily and greasy either, and it was very tender. But of course, then again, it isn't very hard to get a chicken right. Nevertheless, it was still really yummy. ($15)
The truffle fries were great! Just the right thickness (hate it when fries are either too thick or too thin) and crispy! ($9)
If there are only two people eating, I suggest leaving out the truffle fries. Me and Andre ordered extra fries (he likes truffle fries so yeah) and we ended up with a basket of unfinished fries (including the fries that came with our own food).
So overall, I thought the food was about 3.7/5?
However, I really shouldn't have worn this ootd as my tummy became obviously bigger afterwards:-( hehe :'-)
Hope you enjoyed my post! (I'm not a professional food blogger or anything but I decided to do like a little fun post that's not too formal or anything) Have a good week ahead lovelies!!!:-)
