Hey lovelies! I know it's been some time since I've uploaded a post but I finally found the time to write one and this post will be about where I buy my makeup!
Of course, everyone gets their makeup from a variety of stores right? Well, so do I. The few places I go to for my makeup are Sephora, Topshop, Watsons, Guardian and of course, Luxola. And today, I will be writing about the makeup I've been buying recently.
If you know me personally, you probably would've already known that I have this current obsession with shopping on Luxola. Yes, I've snapchatted my loots and all sorts of stuff, raving about all the makeup I got from there. So today I'm gonna rave more into detail HAHAHA and then explain more on why I love Luxola so much!

One of my fave products I got from Luxola is the Wet N Wild Color Icon Blusher! I got the ones in Pearlescent Pink (left) and Heather Silk (right). These blushers are probably gonna top my fave blushers list. They are extremely pigmented and are just so gorgeous!! If you were to ask me which is my personal fave, I wouldn't be able to choose one.
Pearlescent Pink is a lovely peachy pink blusher with some shimmer in it, which I find super versatile and pretty!! It's also a great dupe for the famous NARS Orgasm Blush.

So if you are on a budget (and even if you aren't), you could save some money by spending just $8.90 on the Wet N Wild blusher rather than splurging tons on a very similar, higher end product. (PS I'm wearing Pearlescent Pink on my cheeks today!!!)
Heather Silk, on the other hand, is an extremely pretty easy-wear pink shade with slight purple undertones. To me, it seems like an in between shade of pink and berry, which I love. It has a satin-matte finish (one of my fave kinds of finishes) for a nice a natural look! I haven't worn this shade out yet though:-(( I just think that it would clash with my current hair colour as it's both pinkish-purplish?? HAHAHA so right now, I'm wearing Pearlescent quite a lot! (and loving it!!!)

Next, another one of my favourite products from Luxola, is the ZOEVA Cat Eye Pen! This liquid eyeliner pen is pretty different from most of the other liquid liners I've tried. Most liquid liners are super liquid (of course, I mean it's a liquid liner right??) and some are pretty hard to control due to it's flimsy tip. However, this liner is more velvety and has a slightly stiffer tip (but not too stiff), which makes it super easy to control!!! Moreover, it offers amazing pigmentation! The liner comes out jet black, which is just the best thing ever. Don't have to keep on lining your eyes:-))))))
I made a comparison between my old liner (Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner - $22) and my new ZOEVA Cat Eye Pen ($11.50).
I'm not sure if you can tell (it's not obvious on camera), but the Stila eyeliner is more faint than the ZOEVA liner. Also, the Stila liner seeps more into the lines on my wrist than the ZOEVA liner, which shows it's more liquid.
I'm not sure about you guys, but I personally prefer the liner to be a more gel-like or creamy consistency than full on liquid because I feel like it's easier to handle and control.
However, this liner smudges a little so that's the only downside:-( but other than that I think it's super perf!!!!
Overall, ZOEVA is definitely my new go-to liner because it's just so easy to control and it's so cheap as well! In fact, it's so popular that this product is constantly out of stock! I've tried buying it a few times before, but it's always been sold out and when I finally got the chance to buy it, I found myself fighting for the very last piece. So without thinking, I immediately checked out and I have zer0 regrets!!!:-)

Last but not least, one of my other fave products from Luxola is the Wet N Wild Coverall Cream Foundation (Light) at only $10.90!!!
At first, I didn't expect this foundation to emerge as my most favoured foundation out of my Revlon and Chanel ones, but WOW THIS FOUNDATION IS THE BOMBDOTCOM OKAYS!! I mean, after all it's only $10.90, so I didn't expect much out of it at all. In fact, I expected this foundation to be just a backup foundation for super casual days (e.g. USS, grocery shopping, meeting boyfriend, beach) but it totally TURNED EVERYTHING AROUND.
Before I turn this whole thing into a big blob of random words, I just wanna say that I love this foundation for the following reasons:
1) Amazing matte finish
2) Doesn't leave your face feeling dewy or sticky
3) Medium coverage (amazing for such a cheap foundation)
4) NOT CAKEY:-DDDDD
Now, I am not gonna go into too much detail about the aforementioned qualities of this foundation (don't wanna turn it into a long winded post) so that's about all I'm gonna say.
The only problem I have with this foundation is that it's pretty difficult to control how much product comes out of the tube, but that's something I can totally learn to deal with (can just squeeze a little softer than usual) so that's not a total annoyance. At least it's not something I can't fix, which is great!:-)

Now I'm gonna move on to the other reasons I keep going back to Luxola!

Luxola provides FREE delivery for orders above SGD10! The best thing about their free delivery service is that you can choose the timeframe you want your package to be delivered, and opt for next day delivery! 2) Rewards!!!
Everyone loves rewards right?? Well, when you earn 200 points with Luxola, you can earn points, not solely by the mainstream '$1 = 1 point' method, but also with other creative methods such as referring your friends and writing reviews!

Points awarded are shown in the above diagram!
I love how Luxola has come up with more than the usual boring way to earn points! Referring friends and writing reviews would make earning points so much faster and easier to get to your reward!

The points scheme has 3 milestones: 250 points ($5 off), 500 points ($20 off) and 750 points ($50 off). Of course, I'd recommend waiting until you reach 750 points to get the huge $50 discount!!!!
To me, the easiest way to earn points is to write reviews on the products, which gets 25 points each. I feel that it's the easiest way because all you have to do is give good and relevant feedback, even if it means pointing out the bad points of the product, you still get the 25 points!

So far, I've written 4 reviews, which gets me 100 points in total. It's really as simple as that!!
3) Feedback
As I mentioned previously, you can leave feedback/reviews on the items you've bought. Well, what comes around goes around! When you want to buy a particular item, but you aren't sure if it's any good, there's tons of reviews right there to help you with your decision!!
