The friendly owner of Louncrayy sponsored me this gorgeous velvet choker. Everyone knows I absolutely love chokers right! I wear them everywhere and I especially love this choker because it is super versatile! Although it is simplistic, it's one of my many favourite necklaces to wear out!
Picture
I would usually layer my chokers with another longer necklace. Just a tip to spice up your outfits;-)
The choker is not too decorative, which makes it perfect for all kinds of outfits! It's so easy to mix and match, without putting in much thought!
Next, Loudncrayy generously sponsored me three other phone cases! However, I'll only be talking about one of them for now! This pineapple phone case is one of the cutest things I've ever owned! I love how there is a slight texture on the phone case which makes it not so boring. PS I love looking at pineapples but I don't like eating them HAHAAH weird right:')

Not only are the phone cases cute, they are affordable too, reasonably priced from just $8-$12!! Perfect for students who don't wanna spend too much on an adorable phone casing, but yet want some quality ones!

Hi lovelies!!!! Welcome back to my blog!! Hope this week has been great for you :-) Anyways, today I'll be talking to you all about these wonderful pair of black Criss Cross Platform Heels that was kindly sponsored by Pixielicious_!

Picture
Pixielicious is an instashop that holds preorders frequently, which includes several items such as shoes and bags, at fairly reasonable prices. The quality of these items are spectacular, for it's price, which is why I am so obsessed with Pixielicious! Pixielicious also has a Carousell account with 100% positive feedback!

Picture
I am wearing the size 38 (in case any of you were wondering). In terms of comfort, I feel that these pair of shoes are really slaying it. Since there is a platform, they provide a little assistance and the heels aren't as difficult to walk in as it seems. In addition, the heel is chunky, unlike some of those stilettos, which makes it even easier and more comfortable to walk in! I also love how the soles of the show have these zig zag cut in things, which make it way less slippery than my other heels!

Picture

I decided to match the shoes with a Taupe Tunic Dress from Zalora! (This outfit makes me look like I went to work right HAHAHAHAHA)

Picture

I also love how versatile the heels are! They complement almost any kind of outfit! Be it shopping, casual, office, or even glam!

This pair of shoes come in sizes 35-40, which is so convenient since most girls' shoe sizes are within that range! They also come in another colour - white! So for those of you who prefer white heels, you can head over and grab em! The best part about all this is that they are only $20!!!!!! Super reasonably priced and affordable for such a comfy and gorgeous pair of heels, right?

(please ignore my face here HAHAAHA)

So after all this, I'm certain you're contemplating getting one for yourself and I'm telling you right now, you should definitely go and get it! You can even keep it for Chinese New Year!! I got tons of compliments from friends and family and even acquaintances on social media on this pair of shoes! I have zero regrets on choosing this pair of heels.
So what are you waiting for?! Head over to Pixielicious to purchase this gorgeous pair of heels!!!

Hope you all enjoyed this post and til the next one, stay safe and keep dreaming ∞

I chose a marble background with my name on it for the customised phone casing! I did it myself by finding the background on Google and editing the name on a photo editing app!

I am overjoyed with how the phone cover turned out! Although not all the words are clearly visible, due to the thinness of the font, I love how it came out altogether!! Especially for $14, I think it is absolutely worth it! In fact, if you buy 2 or more, you get them for $11.50 each so you should totally buy with friends!!! You can also do one of those BEST FRIENDS or couple phone cases!! HAHAHAHA YAY FOR CREATIVITY!! It's probably the cheapest customised phone casings I've ever come across too! Plus there is a plethora of phone models available! From iphone 3 to iPod Touch, Samsung Mini, Xiaomi Redmi, Blackberry 9320, Sony Xperia Z and even HTC OneX!!!! There are lots of phone models (even some I've never even heard of) so you should check their page out to see if your phone model is there ;-) Mine is an iPhone 5S btw!!

Do go ahead and give some love to @littlecases.co if you want a stunning phone casing like mine!!! Wonderful service + awesome items available there:-)
That's all for this post! Thanks so much for reading, hope y'all enjoyed this post! Until next time, stay safe and keep dreaming ∞

New Year, New Hair

2/1/2015

Hi everyone!! Happy New Year and welcome to my new blog! As some of you may know, I've done my hair (yes, again). Many of my friends and family have asked me a bunch of questions about my hair, like which dye I used and whether my hair is extremely damaged. So today, I've decided to tell you guys the entire history of my hair. Continue reading on if you want to find out more about what I did to my hair:-)

For the past year, I've had red/brown hair. Since I was 14, I've been wanting to dye my hair purple (If you don't believe you can ask my friend Jingyi. We got purple extensions together that year). When I was 15, during the end of year holidays, I dyed my hair maroon at Snip Avenue. It faded off pretty quickly and the colour wasn't obvious so I bought a box of hair dye (Loreal Paris Excellence) and dyed my hair at home. That was when it became much more obvious and I liked my hair then. Ever since, I have had my hair pretty much reddish brown until now (I had to dye back to black when school reopened but it faded off to reddish brown).
My plan was to bleach my hair and go blonde for a few weeks/months and then dye all my hair purple. After a few months, when the colour fades off, then I would dye all my hair dark blue. Unfortunately, that did not go as planned.
After O levels, I decided to not do anything about my hair at first, as I was still tired from all the examinations and traveling. It was only after my vacation at Australia, I decided to (finally) bleach my hair. However, the first try was pretty much a failure. Since I am such a terrible hairdresser, I bleached only some parts of my hair and most of the parts were not that light. So I decided to go and bleach my hair once more. At this point, everyone thought that my hair had died but that wasn't the case.
After the second time I bleached my hair, I loved the outcome of my blonde hair. It wasn't the blonde that I wanted (the shade I wanted is super light) but it did look good on me and I received a ton of compliments from family and friends. Although, thanks to my itchy fingers, I went to buy 3 tubs of La Riche dye: Violet, Midnight Blue and White Toner. My plan was to use white toner to get rid of the yellow tones and then dye my hair Violet, and keep Midnight Blue for next time. Sadly, the purple did not really show up on my hair and I ended up hating my hair. It looked more of maroon, which was back to square one.
Everyone thought it was nice, but I didn't want that hair colour so I bleached my hair for the third time. Yes, you're probably thinking: wtf Marie you're insane. And if you're seriously wondering, well all the people around me seem to think that way. ANYWAYS,  during the process of bleaching my hair, my hair began to turn neon green. Which freaked me out. I think it'll freak anyone out right. I thought that if I waited longer, the green will become lighter but NOOOOOOOOOOOO. It did not. So i hastily and impulsively slapped on more bleach (I had to dig up as much bleach as I could from the bottle bc there was very little left) and thankfully after a while the green became lighter and less neon.
Initially I thought this new hair of mine (greenish-golden-blondish) was actually quite ok (eventually I started to like it a little) and I had high hopes of having the colour fade after a few washes but I've had too many dirty looks from people around me with that hair. So with that, I decided that I really had to do something about it. I decided that I had no choice but to use my Midnight Blue dye. Which was a heartbreak for me because I was hoping to keep it until next year (or rather this year??).
Yesterday, I wanted to do some highlights with the blue hair dye (and some leftover purple dye) so that I can still have at least some dye left for the future. I wanted my hair to be kind of a blueish-purple fade off to blonde kind of thing?? I'm not sure how to explain but I hope you guys get the picture. After washing off the dye and drying my hair, I realised that my hair didn't really look like blue. It looked more of turquoise.

Picture
Since I wanted my hair to be dark blue not turquoise, I added more Midnight Blue dye to my hair and voila! My current hair colour is born.

So that's basically the story of my hair. If you guys have any dying (haha see what I did there) questions you want me to answer, I'd be happy to help at askfm!
Thank you all so much for this lengthy (and probably boring) post. Once again, happy new year!! I'll see you lovelies in my next post. Til then, stay safe and keep dreaming ∞
